'Where I am now'

At the moment I definitely know what genre's I don't want to do:

- Comedy
- Sci-fi
- Action
- Documentary
- Surrealist
- Romance
- Adventure
- Crime
- Fantasy 
- Political
- Teen

I think I will go along the lines of Horror but i don't know if there will be another genre mixed into it. 

I have got three ideas at the moment, the first idea is a horror about an invisible door in the woods where people keep going missing. 

The second idea is that every time this girl goes to sleep she has a dream about woods and someone following her but is it actually a dream or is that them on the drive way. 

The final idea is that peoples fears come to life e.g. getting taken by people that hide in the dark.

One Take - short film.

 'OK GO' is a band who use one takes in there music videos. These one takes take about sixteen attempts to get right. This is due to not getting the steps right or falling over or maybe just being out of time with the music. In every music video 'OK GO' has done they use these one takes.

This short film showed me how effective one take can be however this one also took a lot of attempts to get right especially in the shot where you can see all the way through the car window to her. One takes are like building a card house as when you get to the top (towards the end) it get more fragile and flimsy so when it falls (or something goes wrong) it's annoying that you have to start all over again.

Special Effects Editing - Space Ship.

This was my first attempt at special effects. To create this special effect I didn't use a YouTube tutorial to help me as they didn't make sense to me and also some of them weren't helpful as they used different software to me. As a result I attempted to do it myself by experimenting with the different tools and seeing how each one worked. In the end I came up with this short video which is very jumpy but does go from small to large.
